"a fun survival creeper" | What's Eating Todd?
“a fun survival creeper”
“The front of the packaging features the artwork you see at the top of the page and the back includes movie details, some images specs. The DVD disc features the movie logo. Inserting the disc, the menu screen was simple and easy to navigate. The picture and sound quality for this standard-definition release were really good. I didn’t have any issues with the video and audio.
Bottom line is, What’s Eating Todd? ended up being a fun survival creeper that plays like a distant cousin to the zombie subgenre which I’m completely burnt out on. I really can’t stand zombies right now but this indiefest has more of a 28 Days / Weeks Later scenerio which I do like plus there’s a humor to go with it. We get plenty of movies that follows a group of friends that go to the woods to party so there’s nothing too original as far as the concept goes. What I did like is the cast, the camera work and the special effects. I thought the actors did a really good job with their characters. I thought the movie was filmed really good plus there’s some really good cinematography to compliment the direction. The special effects features some creepy cool makeup work for the infected and the victims. So yes, there’s blood and gore to boot! All in all, I enjoyed this one and think it’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it already. What’s Eating Todd? is available on DVD.”
