As the economic struggles continue unabated throughout small town America, a crisis is brewing to the children of this downturn. The Holmans are typical of this experience as Joe is recently unemployed, his wife Ellie, is a 40 year old hospital nurse pulling double shifts and now facing an unexpected pregnancy. Exhausted, they are forced to care for Joe’s senile father, worry about their son in combat overseas, when their only hope, their daughter Jackie, a former honor student, gets sucked into the world of drugs. Someone is going to snap.
